Dr. Devi was born in the Fiji Islands where she completed her Bachelor in Dental surgery. Before her course was completed she received a scholarship for University of Western Australia, where she trained under her mentor Prof. Abbott. After completing her graduate diploma in Endodontics, she went back to Fiji to teach at their dental school. As an academic with the dental school she helped refine the endodontic program in Fiji and continued to study part-time to enhance her skills in tertiary teaching. In 2011 she received a Graduate Diploma in tertiary teaching.
After teaching for 7 years she was awarded a scholarship to do the doctor of Doctor of Clinical Dentistry specializing in Endodontics at the University of Otago. During her years as an academic she received numerous travel awards in order to present her research and conduct research with students. Her drive to learn always fueled the desire for her to get better at her skills.
Upon completing the program she moved to Canberra and has been serving the Canberra community since 2017. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and uses research as a core of her practice skills.
Arpana’s mission is to provide the best outcome through treatment planning with the patients in order to achieve the best results for them to maintain their natural dentition. She is a mother of 2 boys and a soccer mum.
